Whether you’ve just discovered Octant or you’re putting the finishing touches on your submission, this guide will help you successfully navigate the current epoch’s funding process.
What We Fund
At Octant, we're all about funding projects that can make a real difference in their ecosystems. Here are the main areas we focus on:
- Enhancing Core Ethereum Technology: Supporting infrastructure and advancements in Ethereum.
- Advancing Pro-Privacy and Censorship-Resistant Technologies: Promoting technologies that enhance privacy and resist censorship.
- Developing Web3 Public Goods: Investing in infrastructure and tools that foster innovation in web3.
- Supporting Golem Network Use Cases: Backing projects that leverage the Golem Network to promote community-driven initiatives.
If your project aligns with these goals, there's a good chance it'll resonate with the Octant community and have a strong shot at getting funded.
Is Your Project Eligible?
To be eligible, your project must be:
- Public Good;
- Open-source;
- Transparent;
- Socially Credible;
- Be beyond the conceptual phase of the project;
- and have a Sustainability Plan with the potential to make a big impact.
Projects that are financial products, or distributing funding through user voting mechanisms won't qualify. For detailed guidelines, check the Octant Docs.
